Description of toughened tempered glass:
Toughened tempered glass is often used in applications where using standard glass could pose a potential danger. Toughened tempered glass is stronger than standard glass and does not shatter into large shards when broken. This is important, because small shards can greatly minimize potential danger in the case of a break. Feihong set a standard of the fragment state in 50*50mm to judge if it’s qualified toughened tempered glass based on global Electrolux oven glass Standard, GE standard, BSH Standard, British BS3193 Standard, etc. Manufactured through a process of extreme heating and rapid cooling, toughened tempered glass is much harder than normal glass.
In the case that tempered glass does break, it shatters into small pebbles that are void of dangerous, sharp edges. As tempered glass is considered to be much safer than normal glass, you may often here it referred to as safety glass or toughened glass. Tempered glass has a wide variety of uses that you’ll find just about everywhere. In fact, the shelves in your refrigerator or the door for oven door, even some refrigerator door are examples of tempered glass.

Advantages of toughened tempered glass:
Impact resistance: the impact strength of tempered glass with the same thickness is 3-5 times of that of ordinary glass, and the bending strength is 3-5 times of that of ordinary glass. We often use, store and clean dishes in the kitchen. It's hard to avoid rubbing kitchen appliances. The use of toughened glass with high impact resistance can enhance the durability of kitchen appliances.
Good safety: the raw materials of tempered glass generally contain less impurities, and the fine control in the melting process of raw materials makes the ultra white glass have more uniform composition than ordinary glass, and its internal impurities are less, thus greatly reducing the possibility of self explosion after tempering. When the toughened glass is damaged by external force, the fragments will become small particles with obtuse angle similar to honeycomb, which is not easy to cause serious injury to human body. Even if the environment in the kitchen is bad, the toughened glass with stable properties will not cause accidents.

Toughened Tempered Glass Quality Inspection Item
1, Printing appearance: the glass printing area (ink covered area) of the control panel is judged under the condition that the back has opaque cover (black background), and under the black background, it is acceptable that the front is invisible.
2, Evenness: bow shape ≤ 0.5%; there is one place (one peak and one trough) allowed for every 610mm of waveform;
3, Granularity test: two pieces of tempered glass are selected for each batch of glass to be tested, and the place where the center of the long side of the glass plate is 13mm higher than the bottom edge is taken as the breaking point (see figure). After the glass is broken, the two areas with the largest granularity are selected in a 50mm*50mm box for counting. The number of crack-free particles completely contained in the 50mm*50mm box must be ≥50, and the largest particle size must be ≤ 15 mm * 8 mm.
Q: What's the cut hole effect?
A: It depends on different thickness and for thick glass; we usually use water jet + CNC.
For thin glass, we use CNC for cut hole to make sure no breakage chips exist from hole edge.
Q: Is irregular shape glass available?
A: No problem because we will use shape cutting machine + CNC to make sure about the quality.
Q: How's the silk print effect?
A: Feihong received lots of praise in silk print quality base on import paints + auto silk print machine + dust free room.
Available in high temperature silk print(The paint melt into glass) and low temperature paint(Pass adhesion test).
Q: What's the edge treatment could meet?
A: We could make direct cut(cut chips, cheapest), fine grinded(CNC) and polish edges base on your need.
