Most of the times these shelves have exposed edges, giving you the option of adding another level of detail to better reflect your personal style. Our seamed edge comes standard with your order. If the edge is going to show, consider a rounded (pencil) or flat edge, as preferred by many as it gives a more finished look when edges are visible.
After choosing whether or not you want a rounded or flat edge, you get to choose between a polish or grind. A polish gives a shiny and glossy finish, while a grind provides a frosted matte finish. This small detail can impact the overall effect you want to create in your space.

Glass control panel testing items:
1, Evenness: bow shape ≤ 0.5%; there is one place (one peak and one trough) allowed for every 610mm of waveform;
2, Granularity test: two pieces of tempered glass are selected for each batch of glass to be tested, and the place where the center of the long side of the glass plate is 13mm higher than the bottom edge is taken as the breaking point (see figure). After the glass is broken, the two areas with the largest granularity are selected in a 50mm*50mm box for counting. The number of crack-free particles completely contained in the 50mm*50mm box must be ≥50, and the largest particle size must be ≤ 15 mm * 8 mm.
3, Impact test: drop a steel ball with a diameter of 51mm and a weight of 535g from the glass surface 648mm, and impact the center of the glass plate once to ensure that the glass does not break.
4, Thermal shock test: the tempered glass is heated to 287 5℃, and then immediately quenched with water (temperature 10 ~ 25℃) at the center of the glass plate, requiring the glass not to break.
